So much rain, in fact, that a mudslide occurred north of Seattle - so I schlepped myself and my luggage to King Street Station. Further, the trip occurred in February - not the most auspicious time to travel by train in the Pacific Northwest. On my first rail trip from Seattle to Portland, I started reading Katie Ganshert’s “Life After” (which happens to involve a train accident - smooth, Meagan, smooth). Have I mentioned recently that I like to travel? 🙂 I recently discovered stateside train travel after quite a few delightful European adventures by rail, and have enjoyed jaunting down to Oregon via this delightful method.
